I wanted to make an entry for a small graphics contest on a forum and I ended up to do this.
It is told that the eye is the soul's mirror, and this eye represents the mirror of a Romanian person's soul. Kinda simple idea, right? Wrong. It's all about the three colors, blue, yellow and red. There are stories about the significance of each one of them and the reason why it is on the Romanian flag. Blue represents the clear sky, suggesting purity; yellow is there because for many years Romania has been one of the most productive countries in the grain production and red represents the blood that has been spilled over the years by our people to protect this beautiful land. credit: sxc.hu. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
